Not everyone loves coffee, but I’m sure you know one of those people that can’t get through the day without at least two cups of coffee. I’m def one of those people.. especially since having a baby. This guide is for the caff-fiends (get it?) in your life!
Alright, listen. I still am pretty clueless when it comes to baby stuff. I’m really lucky in that both of my sisters have had babies recently so all of my ridiculous pregnancy questions can usually be solved by bugging one of them. I’m definitely no expert, but I did want to share some of the stuff I have learned from the mamas in my life, regardless, because I know how tough planning for a baby can be.
In terms of your hospital bag I’ve heard it’s pretty key to keep it minimal. Pretty much everyone I’ve talked to have said they used maybe 1/3rd of the things they actually packed, and that’s because the hospital provides most of the necessities for you & baby.
Now that I’m halfway through my pregnancy, I thought I’d share some of the things that I’ve used that have made my pregnant life a little easier. So far it hasn’t been so bad, but there’s definitely some stuff I had to get used to. And one of those things has been avoiding all the things the internet scares the hell out of you about. Like parsley. Seriously, it’s a garnish.
This is my favorite time of the year! Even though Florida mildly cools down around this time, once we put the tree up it all starts to feel real. And even though when christmas rolls around we’ll still be living out of boxes because of the reno, it’s gonna be fun..because we also volunteered to host christmas this year. I know I know. What were we thinking.
Here’s the first gift guide! This is for those coffee lovers in your life. Ricky and I are big coffee drinkers. We both have worked as baristas at some point in our lives, and I wouldn’t say we’re coffee snobs but, maybe, yeah, we’re kind of coffee snobs.
3 / For those coffee lovers that have everything, I bet they don’t have this pretty milk pitcher.
4 / If you live somewhere hot like we do, cold brew is a must. Pair a bag of dark roast with these cool growlers.
5 / This gooseneck pour over kettle is dope. They’re essential for anyone that owns a pour over system or Chemex. This one is on the pricey side so if you’re looking for a good gooseneck kettle that’s affordable, we have this one and it’s been good to us.
7 / Marble sugar cellar, because marble.
8 / You can never have enough pretty mugs.
9 / This french press has been on my wish list for a long time.
My classes start back up in two weeks and I’m sad to say goodbye to all of my summer free time. Our wedding is going to be squeezed in right before exam time too, so I’m kind of cringing at the thought of making sure everything is squared planning wise, while also maintaining my grades. It’ll all work out, though!
Those of you who are going back to school (or just love office accessories), here’s a list of my favorite minimal supplies.
